Experience with wine
I can honestly say I have very little experience with wine, except "slapping the bag" of Franzia. My parents do not drink, so I didn't grow up around wine nor currently. Through my very little experiences I have came to the conclusion that I prefer white wine over red. I find red wine very very bitter, and the after takes makes me cringe. I enjoy white wine more because it is a lighter taste, and normally sweeter. But like I said, I have not tasted many many, and the majority were probably cheap. If me and my friends ever decide to get wine, we would always get bottles of Moscato which we all like because of the sweet taste. Last year I did attend Blacksburg's Cork and Fork, a wine festival, and it was alright for me. Basically, I have very little knowledge about wine: I'm not even sure how to properly describe the taste and smell. This is why I'm excited to take this course and learn all about it!
